EARTH BAG SCHOOL BUILD NEPAL 2017 Timber Floor Solutions donated to this cause to assist Court Construction in the rebuild effort in the Sindhupalchok District, Nepal!! Earthbag building is a quick, simple, earthquake resilient way to build and reconstruct which has been used in the FIRST STEPS HIMALAYA Earth Bag School Build in Nepal. These Earthbags are made of locally sourced and natural materials; barbed wire, old sacks, dirt and water. They are cost effective, environmentally friendly and require less skilled labour than traditional masonry construction, which allows community volunteers to help rebuild these educational facilities for the children of Nepal in the Sindhupalchok District. The benefits and qualities of these amazing Earthbags: • quick to build • resistant fireproof, termite proof, flood proof, earthquake resistant • thermal/insulating effect- the variation in outside temperature has a slow impact on the inner temperature of the structure • roofs do not require wood, steel or any other materials when constructing and building with Earthbags! This ingenious design is a product of Eco-Logis.org.
